Personal information used in checkout
The purchase form requires the customer to enter a name and phone number and to choose either Pickup or Cash on Delivery. Name and phone number are required so the purchase record can identify the customer details entered for that transaction. The selected Pickup or Cash on Delivery choice is required to record the customer's chosen fulfilment/payment method.
The app does not request an email address in the purchase form, a delivery address, account password, full payment-card number, CVV or CVC, card PIN, banking credentials, identity document, precise location, camera input, microphone input, or media-library access.
Cart and favourites
The app stores cart quantities and favourite item identifiers in Android SharedPreferences on the device so those choices can remain available after the app is closed. Cart data is cleared after the purchase interaction completes, when the user removes items, when app data is cleared, or when the app is uninstalled. Favourite item identifiers remain until the user removes them, clears app data, or uninstalls the app.
Purchase information
After the required purchase form is validated and the Purchase button is pressed, the app stores the entered name, phone number, selected Pickup or Cash on Delivery choice, selected product identifiers, quantities, total amount, and submission time in Android SharedPreferences. These fields are used for the app's purchase flow and to retain the most recent purchase record on this device.
Purchase interaction and transmission
This version does not include a payment gateway, online account system, Firebase, cloud database, analytics, advertising SDK, tracking SDK, or remote order API. The checkout information is not transmitted to an external server by this version of the app. No raw payment-card credentials are requested, stored, or transmitted.
Contact Us
The Contact Us screen can open the device's email application using an email intent. The app supplies the privacy/support email address and an optional subject line. Nothing is sent until the user chooses to compose and send an email in that external application. Information typed in the email application is handled by that application and its provider.
Local storage purpose
Cart quantities are retained to preserve selected quantities across normal app restarts. Favourite item identifiers are retained to preserve saved pieces. The most recent purchase information is retained to preserve the last submitted checkout record on the device. These values are not used for advertising or behavioural tracking.
Retention
The most recent purchase name, phone number, fulfilment/payment choice, product identifiers, quantities, total amount, and submission time remain in app-private storage until a later purchase replaces the record, the user chooses Clear App Data, Android application storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. No separate server copy is created by this app.
Deletion
Users can open Settings and choose Clear App Data to remove cart, favourites, and the most recent purchase information retained by the app. Users can also clear the app's storage through Android system settings or uninstall the app.
Security
Local preferences are stored in Android app-private storage. The app does not intentionally export these preferences to other applications and excludes its SharedPreferences file from cloud backup.
Services not used
This version does not use advertising, analytics, Firebase, authentication, user accounts, a backend server, a cloud database, location, camera, microphone, media-library access, or payment-card processing.
Children
The app is a general woodworking shopping experience and does not intentionally request personal information from children.
